Corrigan, Sir Dominic John
(1 dic. 1802, Dublín, Irlanda–1 feb. 1880, Dublín).

Médico irlandés. Escribió varios informes sobre enfermedades cardíacas; su artículo sobre la insuficiencia aórtica (1832) es una descripción clásica. También elaboró renombrados estudios sobre fibrosis pulmonar (1838), aortitis como causa de angina de pecho (1837) y estenosis mitral (1838). Los epónimos como respiración de Corrigan (respiración superficial en la fiebre) y pulso de Corrigan (un pulso saltón) se generalizaron como resultado de sus investigaciones.
